About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Trash Dash website or book junk removal with Trash Dash (a business name of MDKA Corp). By sending a request or approving an estimate, you agree to them.

Estimates and prices

Price Check results are approximate and are not a quote. An estimate is our price based on the photos and details you give us. The job is booked only after you approve the estimate and we confirm a time. Your preferred time is a request until we confirm it.

If the items or access are different from what was described, we will tell you the new price before doing any extra work. Nothing extra is added to your bill unless you approve it.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is done. We accept cash, debit or credit card, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay and Cash App.

Rescheduling and cancellation

You can reschedule or cancel free of charge by calling or texting us at least 2 hours before your arrival window. If our crew arrives and cannot do the job — for example, there is no access, or nobody is there to let us in when we need to get inside — a $50 trip fee may apply.

Items we can’t take

We do not haul hazardous waste, including paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides, pool chemicals, motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline, propane and other gas cylinders, asbestos, medical waste, needles, ammunition or explosives. Please tell us about these before the job. If we find them, we will leave them behind.

Your items

You confirm that you own the items, or have the owner’s permission to have them removed. Once items are loaded on our truck, they are considered discarded and we cannot return them. Please remove anything you want to keep, and check pockets and drawers.

Access and safety

Please make sure we can safely reach the items and park nearby. If an adult (18+) needs to let us in, please be available during the arrival window. We may decline any item or job we believe is unsafe.

Damage

We work carefully. If something is damaged during the job, please tell us within 48 hours, with photos if possible, and we will work with you to make it right.

Disposal

Every load goes to licensed facilities, the way California law requires: general junk to permitted landfills and transfer stations; mattresses, electronics, appliances and tires to the right recycling facilities.

Photos

Our crew may take before-and-after photos to document the job. We will only show photos publicly, such as in our gallery, with your permission and without addresses, faces or personal details.

Referral discount

The referral discount is for friends of our past customers. The friend must have completed a paid job with Trash Dash, and we check this using the phone number on their past job. When the new customer’s job is completed and paid, both get $20 off: the new customer on that job, the friend on their next job. One discount per job; it has no cash value and can’t be combined with other discounts unless we agree.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you approve an estimate applies to that job.
